My Story
I grew up in the small, but proud Eastern European country of Bulgaria. It was a dream come true for our family when we were invited to come live and work in the United States. I graduated high school in Westchester county, New York and attended State University of New York at Stony Brook where I received my BS in Biology with a minor in Biomedical Engineering. My next step was completing my medical education at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine.
I graduated from my residency at Goreab Children's Hospital, Morristown, NJ in 2012. It was a time of great growth. After residency my husband, also a physician, and I made the very long and very entertaining drive to beautiful Oregon where we have settled. We put down roots in Oregon in 2012 and the roots are getting deeper to this day. We have two beautiful children who were born in Oregon and are attending the local schools.
